Blasts from the Past

It's hard to believe these photos are six years old.

Ominous foreshadowing?

Wired Demo #2

Although it's amazing to work with so many different voices, I'm excited to post a demo that I did the singing for on my own. Ritter Hanz is going to stop by this weekend to lay down a new vocal (in which he will show off his crazy tenor and jump the octave in the 2nd chorus), but in the meantime I hope you enjoy my version:

Wired the musical

So for anyone wondering why I never got around to releasing the EP I was working on with Cecile, I got completely sidetracked by a new project...

In short, over the last 3 weeks I wrote 18 new songs and a 70 page script. It's for a musical I'm calling Wired. I don't want to say too much more just yet, but I wanted to share a demo and a poster idea for the project with all of you.

The song features Summer Kim Lee, an old friend who I grew up singing with. These days she's knee deep in academia, but she's still a fierce vocalist. I'm so lucky to have convinced her to sing on the track.

Hope ya'll like it.

When Your Body Breaks

Here is the new version of When Your Body Breaks that I finished with the help of Cecile Tournesac. If you sign up for the mailing list, you'll receive an email with a link to where you can download a higher quality Mp3.

Work in Progress

Here is a little preview of my multi-media shrine inspired by Narcissister's recent show @ the Kitchen, directed by the fabulous Rob Roth.

Just in case I fuck it up...

In a case of life imitating art, I've been accidentally getting quite high off the nail varnish used in the piece, perhaps inspired by my cameo in Jeffery and Cole Casserole?

Starting to carve arabic symbols into the wood. Now, i just need to buy rubber nipples and a pagan penis candle at Enchantments.

In the meantime, I'll be eating leftover pasta for the next week...

You MUST watch Narcissister's Every Woman vid:

also, check out my friend Rob's site. Super cool aesthetic:
